Who we are

UrbanPeak Tours & Transfers ("we", "us", "our") operates this website. We are based in 13 Westlake Drive, Westlake, Cape Town, and you can reach us at reservations@urbanpeaktours.com for any questions about this policy or your personal information.

What we collect

We only collect what we need to respond to you and to keep the site working well:

• Enquiry and booking details you submit through our forms — your name, email address, phone number, and the contents of your message or booking.
• Analytics data about how the site is used (for example pages viewed and approximate location), collected only if you accept analytics cookies.
• Cookies, as described below.

Why we collect it

To reply to your enquiries, prepare and manage your bookings, and to understand and improve how the website performs. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for purposes you would not reasonably expect.

Cookies

We use a small first-party cookie to remember your cookie choice. Analytics cookies are only placed once you select "Accept all" on our cookie banner; choosing "Essential only" leaves them switched off. You can clear cookies at any time through your browser settings.

Third-party services

To protect our forms from spam and abuse we use Google reCAPTCHA, which is subject to the Google Privacy Policy and Terms of Service. Where analytics are enabled with your consent, that data is processed by the analytics provider under its own privacy policy. Payments, where taken, are processed securely by our payment provider — we never see or store your full card details.

Data retention

We keep enquiry and booking information only as long as needed to help you and to meet our record-keeping obligations, after which it is deleted or anonymised.

Your rights

Under the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA) in South Africa, and the GDPR for visitors in the EU, you have the right to access the personal information we hold about you, to ask us to correct or delete it, and to object to certain processing. To make a request, email us at reservations@urbanpeaktours.com and we will respond within a reasonable period.

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top reflects the most recent change.
